just set up an asus eee pc with xp and noticed that windows live writer is installed.

I started it up, live writer asked for my blog address ID and password and connected.

I am writing this with live writer.

to be honest though - I can't see the point of a local program to post to on-line blogs.

Microsoft have to get on-line apps sorted
